Tonight, our volunteers and directors gathered to recognize and show appreciation for the dedication and leadership of Executive Director, William Jackson (Heather-William Jackson).

Tomorrow, August 28, 2026, marks the end of a chapter at Appling Food Bank that's filled with many blessings, thanks to his hard work and leadership.

We wish William and his family the best in their new endeavors and pray for him in the transition. If you see him tomorrow, wish him well and thank him for all he has done for our community!

The Appling County Food Bank Had some GREAT HELP this morning!!!! We want to extend a SPECIAL THANKS to this wonderful family and Concrete Jungle for coming out this morning and helping our volunteers through our distribution. we GREATLY APPRECIATE all of your help!

The Appling County Food Bank needs VOLUNTEERS!!!! Would you be willing to give up 4-8 hours a week. from 8-12 Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri we need people to help make boxes, sort through food, run our distribution and serve the community. It is a big job, Ideally we would need 12-14 people to be optimally staffed, but right now we are running on 7-10 on a good day. Please pray about coming along side us and helping us serve those in our community who need a little assistance. there is a great group of people who work up here every day to make sure it gets done, and a great group of consumers waiting to meet you!

The Appling County Food Bank will be Closed next week, July 27th- Friday July 31st. We will re open for our regular business hours on Tuesday, August 4th. Thank you to all of our volunteers and I pray that everyone has a safe and restful break!
