On April 25, 2026 the annual Walk for Glendalough raised more than $12,000 for the preservation and improvement of the park. On behalf of Glendalough Park Partners, we are so grateful to everyone who donated, attended and to all the volunteers who made the day possible.

In addition to the actual Walk, attendees enjoyed brats donated by Amor Pork, buns provided by Larry’s Foods, cookies from Falls Bakery, and took home free plants from Lake Country Gardens on Otter Tail Lake.

Another highlight of the day was the recognition of the top fundraisers:

● 1st Place: Linda Poll
● Tie for 2nd Place: Ken Wentz
and Tom Colman (not pictured)

The top fundraisers got the opportunity to choose a print by Greg Gerhart.

The Walk for Glendalough was sponsored by the Minnesota Parks & Trails Council of Minnesota, Minnesota Department of National Resources (MN DNR) and was organized by the Glendalough State Park Citizens Advisory Board.

Thank you to Glendalough Park Partners for hosting the 30th annual Walk for Glendalough! This event raises funds for Glendalough State Park projects and activities and has been key to Glendalough's success.

The Walk for Glendalough is this Saturday, April 25th from 9am-1pm at Glendalough State Park. It is also FREE PARK day. This is a chance to help support the park and learn more about what's new there. There is coffee/registration in the morning & a lunch/program from noon-1pm. You can hike, bike and take in nature in between.
