DanceBARN Festival #11 is a WRAP!
Daily dance classes, delicious dinners, swimming (between thunderstorms!), a birthday party, drawing class, a mural, and oh yeah - a 15 minute dance film that was choreographed, filmed, edited and premiered all in 5 days!
Special thanks to our collaborators on the film:
👩🏼🎨Wesley Creigh whose family owns the historic cabin we filmed in and were inspired by. Wesley has been a collaborator from the start on this film including getting the house ready for each decade (ranging from the 50s-90s), doing the bulk of the editing of the film, and sifting through hundreds of family photos to bring this story to life. Wesley also designed and facilitated the mural at Xanadu!
🎥Kristofor Gieske was ready for anything when it came to our wild videography requests and is always such a blast to collaborate with! Thanks for swinging up to Battle Lake for a whirlwind 48 hours!
🏚️The “OG” Creigh Crew: Sam, Ginny and Emmy Creigh - thank you for opening your home to us and even making a cameo! We are so grateful to be part of the 7 C’s history.
🐾Gertie the Basset Hound: Gertie, we don’t know if you were helpful, but you definitely offered comic relief.
