Tonight we are having LDBs first Public Accountability Forum.

If you have an issue with LDB leadership, decisions we've made, something you believe happened within Louisiana Deserves Better, or something you believe Marian needs to answer for—come say it.

You'll get 2 uninterrupted minutes to speak.

Marian will get 2 uninterrupted minutes to respond.

You'll get 1 minute to question or respond directly to what I said.

Then we move on to the next person.

🚨 ¡LOUISIANA DESERVES BETTER OFICIALMENTE SE VA DE GIRA! 🚨

Hace un par de meses, les pregunté si querían que lleváramos por todo el estado la campaña para revocar a Jeff Landry y Liz Murrill. ¡Ustedes dijeron que SÍ, así que nos vamos de gira!

¡Esto es una locura! ¡Es increíble! Todavía ni sé qué pensar, pero estamos preparando el Recall Mobile y vamos a recorrer 10 paradas diferentes por todo Luisiana.

Comenzamos en Baton Rouge durante el Homecoming de Southern University, recorreremos el estado y regresaremos a Baton Rouge para cerrar durante el Homecoming de LSU.

🚨 LOUISIANA DESERVES BETTER: MOVEMENT UPDATE + FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 🚨

SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2026 UPDATE

We are officially in the FINAL STRETCH of the recalls of Governor Jeff Landry and Attorney General Liz Murrill. There are still a lot of questions circulating, so here is ONE UPDATE with everything you need to know.

1️⃣ IS THE RECALL STILL GOING?

YES! The recall is VERY MUCH still going. We have until October 31 to complete our final push for the Jeff Landry recall. As of September 4, that gives us 57 DAYS.

We are still collecting signatures, operating signing locations, processing Letter Brigade petitions, organizing volunteers, preparing for our statewide Recall Tour and getting everything ready for the final stretch.

The recall did NOT stop. We did NOT quit. We are still working.

2️⃣ IS THIS ACTUALLY A LEGITIMATE RECALL?

YES. These are official recall petitions filed through Louisiana's legal recall process with the Louisiana Secretary of State.

This is not an online petition. This is not a Change.org petition. This is not something we made up on social media.

The recalls are REAL, they are documented, and they have received extensive news coverage throughout Louisiana and beyond.

You don't have to take our word for it. You can contact the Louisiana Secretary of State yourself and verify that these recall petitions exist.

🚨 RECALL HEAD-QUARTERS UPDATE 🚨

We’re too excited because we are officially entering the FINAL stretch of this recall, and there is a LOT happening behind the scenes!

For the remainder of the recall, Louisiana Deserves Better Headquarters will be used for Letter Brigade operations and administrative work ONLY.

That means HQ at Geaux Create will be focused on:

📬 Receiving and processing Letter Brigade packets
📋 Counting, organizing, and verifying petitions
🚐 Preparing for our upcoming 10-STOP RECALL TOUR
📦 Making sure everything is properly prepared, tracked, and ready for final submission

PLEASE NOTE: We will no longer be an in-person signing location for the remainder at the Geaux Create location of the recall.

But the RECALL IS STILL LIVE. WE ARE STILL GOING. AND YOU CAN STILL SIGN!
