Meal/Event Updates
On Saturday, September 12, The Community Meal partnered with Giving Day to celebrate their 100th Anniversary at Sunny Hill Elementary.

Together we served 360 hotdogs and 200+ pieces of Mexican tamales and more!

Several area non-profits received legacy awards for supporting the Giving Day organization (House of Hope, St. Matthew Lutheran Church).

In 2013, Sue Mullen (spotlight volunteer) from St. Matthew introduced us to Giving Day and the church. Thank you Sue for all your efforts.

Thank you to Jasper Meats Jasper Meats for providing 300+ quality hotdogs. Many thanks to vendors who provided ice cream, churros, fruit and more!

On Thursday, September 17, First United Methodist prepared a German meal that served 175.

Special thank you to Sandy N and the United Methodist Women who prepared the pork roasts, apple cake and potato salads.

Sandy and FUMC partnered with CM in 2018 and has served over 3,000 meals since that time. We truly appreciate your tireless dedication to your community.

Thank you to FIGHT2FEED Fight 2 Feed for the high-quality pork roasts.

Thank you to Caring & Sharing for the fresh fruit and vegetables.
