Bacoa Bacoa offers programs, services and activities to help older adults remain vital, contributing members of the community.

Bacoa is the primary organization in the Barrington area that promotes vibrant, healthy aging by providing in-person and virtual social services, active aging programs, and respite for older adults and caregivers.

Bacoa’s A Day Out Adult Day Program is a social model program designed to provide a structured, engaging, and strength-based environment for people living with early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias.

We combine lively group discussions with music and movement therapy, chair yoga and meditation, art projects, pet therapy, and more.

Make your DAF gift go twice as far this DAF Day.

On Thursday, October 8, you can put your donor-advised fund to work for older adults, caregivers, and families in our community.

A grant to Bacoa Forward will help strengthen the people, technology, programs, and partnerships that make Bacoa’s personalized guidance, supportive services, and community connection possible.

And during our $100,000 Matching Challenge, every dollar given to Bacoa Forward is matched—helping turn $100,000 into $200,000 for our community.

Call Bacoa today to book a review of your prescription drug plan.

“Every year you have a chance to check your Medicare Part D prescription coverage to make sure you are not paying more than necessary. Switching plans has saved some of our clients anywhere from $100 to $6000 per year (even up to $27,000 for one person last year)! Plans change their premiums, co-pays and levels of coverage every year – even if the plan you currently have is the least expensive option for you, at least you will know that. We don’t like surprises at the pharmacy in January!”
