Barnesville Area Community Fund

Barnesville Area Community Fund Contributions over the last 25 years have made a tremendous difference in the Barnesville area.

Throughout the community you see projects supported by the fund: parks and playgrounds, libraries and emergency services, new businesses & services. The Barnesville Community Fund began in 1990 with the formation of a community revolving loan fund, with $15,000 being raised from contributions in the Barnesville area. Since 1990, many loans have been made from the monies to assist new businesses sta

rt-ups. In 1994 it was decided that expanding the Community Fund to include the granting and educational areas would be beneficial to Barnesville organizations and the whole community.

Last week was a very special week to honor skilled nursing professionals across the United States. In celebration of this week, the Barnesville Area Community Fund delivered trays of healthy snacks to both Valley Care and Rehab and Golden Manor Assisted Living. As a community, we are very fortunate to have both assisted living and nursing home facilities right in Barnesville allowing elderly individuals to stay right in Barnesville when they need day to day nursing services. THANK YOU!
