Bread for Life Food Pantry is looking for a Meals from the Heart Coordinator / Assistant Manager to help oversee programs serving seniors and homebound neighbors in our community.

We're seeking someone who is compassionate, organized, dependable, and confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. This part-time position includes coordinating volunteers, managing meal deliveries, assisting with our Senior Box program, and supporting pantry operations.

🕒 Part-Time (20 hours/week)
💲 $20/hour
📍 Bardstown

A big THANK YOU to the for inviting Bread for Life to be part of their Trunk or Treat this past weekend! We had a fang-tastic time meeting families, handing out candy, and sharing information about our programs. 🍬🦇

Now it's our turn!

🎃 Join us this Friday, October 30, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM for the St. Vincent Trunk or Treat at 310 N. 2nd Street in Bardstown. There will be free candy, fun decorations, and plenty of Halloween spirit for the whole family!

We hope to see all our little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses there! 👻🍭

Today is Senior Box Day at Bread for Life!

If you're enrolled in the program, stop by the fairgrounds for drive-thru pickup between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Can't make it this morning? Don't worry, remaining boxes will be available at the pantry beginning at 12:30 PM.

Are you over 60 and wondering if you qualify? Stop by 1065A Bloomfield Road to learn more and pick up an application.

We're proud to help our senior neighbors enjoy healthy, nutritious food each month. 💚🍎🥫

🦃 A Thanksgiving meal can mean so much more than food. ❤️

For some of our neighbors, spending Thanksgiving alone can be difficult. Through our Home-Delivered Thanksgiving Meal Program, Bread for Life is helping ensure that eligible clients can enjoy a warm holiday meal delivered right to their door.

This program is available for Bread for Life clients who: 🍂 Will be home alone on Thanksgiving Day 🍂 Have a household size of 2 or less 🍂 Would face physical hardship in preparing a Thanksgiving meal

📞 Call 502-348-7270, option 3 to check eligibility.

⏰ Applications must be submitted by November 6.

No one should have to face the holidays alone. If you think you may qualify, please reach out to us.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Nelson County EMS for stepping up to help deliver food today to a neighbor in need. Food is more than a meal. It's dignity, security, and peace of mind. Because of caring community partners like EMS, we can make sure our neighbors receive the support they need, even when unexpected challenges arise.
