Better Than Bullets martial arts program in Citè Soleil, Haiti provides its students with the opportunity to learn self defense, respect and honor.
In a slum that is riddled with gun violence and crime, Better Than Bullets students commit to choosing peace over violence, which is paramount given the circumstances of where they live.
In Citè Soleil there are very few opportunities for learning, and even fewer opportunities for activities that promote respect, honor and peace. Better Than Bullets provides black belt level instructors that are committed to providing a place for learning that extends far beyond martial arts. They are getting to the hearts of their students and training them to endure in a place that is difficult by giving them the skills needed to be confident in who they are, and to respect themselves and those that are around them.
