National Nonprofit Day

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we celebrate the heart of what makes organizations like Gabriel Project of West Virginia possible—people who care and are willing to serve. 💙

As a nonprofit organization, we are grateful for the volunteers, churches, community partners, donors, and supporters who are helping babies have a healthy, safe start in life.

Gabriel Project of WV provides essential baby items such as diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene items, and other necessities to struggling families. Our sites are volunteer-run, and every donated item, financial gift, hour of volunteer time, and word of encouragement makes a difference.

National Nonprofit Day is a wonderful reminder that every bit helps. Thank you to everyone who has supported Gabriel Project of WV and helped us continue serving families throughout our communities. ❤️

📅 Bancroft Site Open Wednesday, August 12th!

The Gabriel Project’s Bancroft site will be open this Wednesday, August 12th, to assist families with essential baby items and support. 💛

If you or someone you know needs diapers, wipes, clothing, or other infant care items, stop by and see our friendly volunteers!

We’re here to help babies have a healthy, safe start in life. 💕
As a volunteer-run organization, our sites operate on days and times that work best for the incredible individuals who give their time to serve and the churches. We are not always able to fulfill needs outside of open days/times.

❗Our Teays Valley site is closed on Monday, August 3rd to give the volunteers much deserved rest. They will re-open on Monday, August 10th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

🎗Don't forget our Bancroft site is open on Wednesday, August 12th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

📣 Visiting more than one site is not permitted. This policy is in place to ensure fair access to supplies for all families.

🍼 Diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and more are available at no cost.
🚗 Car seats and Pack ’n Plays are available for $15 each.

📢 The Gabriel Project – Bancroft Site is OPEN this Wednesday!

Our Bancroft site will be open Wednesday, July 8th, from 5PM to 7PM to serve families in need. 💙

We provide support for families with children ages 2 and under, offering essentials such as:
👶 Diapers & wipes
🍼 Formula & baby food
👕 Infant & toddler clothing
🧸 Other baby necessities

No appointment is needed — just bring identification for your child(ren).

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we wish you and your family a safe, fun, and joyful holiday filled with time spent with loved ones.

Please note that our offices and sites will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will resume our regular schedule on Monday.

Looking for support for your growing family? We’re here to help ❤️

We have two sites in Putnam County offering essential baby items at little to no cost. We are a volunteer-run organization, which means our hours are designed around the availability of the amazing individuals who serve our community.

✨ What We Offer:

Diapers (variety of sizes)
Baby formula, including specialties
Gently used baby clothing
Wipes and hygiene items
Baby equipment (as available)

💲 Low-Cost Items:

Car seats – $15
Portable cribs – $15

🍼 How Our Services Work:
We focus on individualized support, meaning you receive the items you actually need—no pre-packed or one-size-fits-all bags. Our goal is to walk alongside you and provide practical help during this important season.

As a volunteer-based program, occasional closures may happen due to weather or availability
Please plan visits during scheduled hours, as appointments outside these times are extremely limited
