Ballinger Cares
The Ballinger Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Ballinger Cares as our October 2026 Member of the Month!
This morning, we had the pleasure of visiting with Mrs. Peggy Freeman and learning more about the incredible work Ballinger Cares continues to do for our community.
Since opening in 2021, Ballinger Cares has grown into so much more than a food pantry and resale center. From providing food assistance to local families and awarding scholarships to students to supporting numerous community organizations, their impact reaches far beyond their doors.
What makes Ballinger Cares truly special is the generosity of its volunteers, donors, and supporters who give their time and resources to help others.
We encourage everyone to stop by, browse the resale center, learn more about their programs, and see firsthand the difference this organization is making. Whether you shop, donate, or volunteer, your support helps them continue serving our community.
We would also like to recognize the dedicated Ballinger Cares Board of Directors:
Carla Campbell, Philip Springer, Kay Hancox, Freda Perez, Martha Pinckney, Diana Banks, Dot Hoelscher, Frances Chapman, Peggy Freeman, Alan Rininger, and Bob Rostine.
Their leadership, dedication, and commitment to serving others help make the organization’s continued impact possible.
