Congratulations to our tractor driving competitors for their incredible performance last Thursday. Our drivers showed outstanding skill, precision and safety. A special shout-out to Brady Miller for taking 2nd overall in the zero turn division and Dom Rossman for taking 3rd overall in the compact division. Both will advance to the State Competition in July. In addition to Brady and Dom, participants were Savannah Taylor, Ryan Gosnell, Wayne Wilkins, Jenna Funkhouser and Genevieve Haines. Way to represent East Hardy at Regionals!

Thank you to all who make this competition come together for the Eastern Region!

Yesterday was a beautiful day to spend walking around the Wardensville Fall Festival. We were excited to see so many familiar faces purchasing apple butter or jerky. ☀️

We will not be at the festival today, but we have a few jars of apple butter left if anyone is interested. We are almost sold out! ☔️

💰 1/2 Pints $4 (Naturally Sweet is only available in 1/2 pints)

Who could help us celebrate 100 years of FFA in Hardy County and WV? We’re looking for pieces of history to showcase. Please share!

East Hardy FFA Moorefield Middle FFA Chapter we are less than one month away from the 99th National FFA Convention! The FFA was founded in 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri. The first FFA chapter came to Hardy County in 1930 when it was chartered alongside the opening of Moorefield High School.  Since then, Hardy County has been home to five FFA chapters. This includes all of those in the photo, Including Moorefield, East Hardy, Mathias, and Wardensville, along with one of the first middle school FFA chapters in the entire nation, Moorefield Middle School in 1995.  For FFA’s 100th anniversary, we are in search of an FFA jacket from each Hardy County chapter… and for the cherry on top, an original FFA banner for each chapter. We are not looking to keep these items, we would just like to have them for a photo opportunity. If you happen to have something, please reach out to Mr. Dent, Ms. Kesner, or Ms. Ritchie.

Nothing says autumn quite like a porch full of vibrant fall mums! We just sorted orders of the most beautiful mums, and they are officially ready to go to their new homes.
