Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue OAAR is a foster-based rescue located on Long Island. His story reminds us that every animal deserves a second chance to love and be loved.

Every life saved is in honor of Ollie - who, despite suffering unimaginable cruelty, never lost his gentle spirit. We are dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs across the US. Every dog we rescue is placed in a loving foster home and eventually matched with the perfect forever family.

Yesterday, 9 of our newest angels arrived safely on Long Island, thanks to the HUGE hearts of pilots Andrew and Anne of and Paul!

All 9 of these babies were found dumped outside in South Carolina, with bleak futures ahead. Now, thanks to an incredible village, they have a second chance and so many good things to look forward to!

A HUGE thank-you to our amazing pilots for donating their time and skills to get these helpless babies to safety, and to Toni and Brooke in SC for finding them and keeping them safe until their freedom flights could be arranged.

And of course, endless thanks to our wonderful fosters Kris, Anderson, Kimberly, Paul, and their families for opening their homes and hearts to these babies!

As we always say, IT TAKES A VILLAGE, and we absolutely have the very BEST one! Together, we're changing lives, one angel at a time.

She snuggles like it’s her full-time job, has sweetness to spare, and a personality that’s impossible to resist! This adorable little girl is the total puppy package with plenty of sweet kisses to share.

• Evie / 5 months old / 16 lbs / Lab-Pit mix (best guess!)
• Great with everyone - kids, other dogs, cats - you name them, she loves them!
• Playful, curious, and affectionate little girl who'll happily cover you in cuddles.
• Great puppy personality - happy & friendly with the motto: play hard, nap harder.
• Excellent in the crate, doing very well with potty training, & rides nicely in the car.
• Still a baby who needs a home where someone is around during the day.
• Microchipped, vaccinated, and will be spayed at 6 months. 📍 Long Island.

Meet Snoopy, your future snuggle buddy and professional lap warmer! This sweet boy has a fantastic temperament and is completely content being close to his people. Couch time? Absolutely. Lap time? Even better. Personal space? Well, Snoopy may have other plans - he has no problem snuggling right onto your lap!

Snoopy, a 1 1/2-year-old, 43 lb Lab/Hound mix (best guess!), sleeps like a champ in his crate at night, gets along great with other dogs AND cats 🐱, walks nicely on a leash, and is working on his sit command with tasty training treats. He’s still figuring out his favorite toys, but anything he can chew on is definitely worth investigating!

Snoopy is a sweet, easygoing guy who’s going to make one lucky family very happy. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. Located on Long Island.

Tomorrow, 9 sweet babies who were all abandoned outside are hopping on a freedom flight to New York! Our amazing foster Kris is taking in a litter of 6 of these puppies, but all 9 babies will need supplies as they start their new lives.

Some dogs are beautiful. Some are smart. Some are affectionate. Apparently, Gretel decided to be ALL THREE! 💗

Gretel, a stunning 2-year-old, 65-lb Boxer/Pit/Cane Corso mix (according to her DNA results), has beauty, brains, and the most loving personality! This girl is incredibly smart, loves to learn, and picks up new things in a flash. She’s eager to please and would thrive with someone who will continue to build on her training.

But her most impressive talent? Giving the sweetest, gentlest hugs ever! Gretel absolutely LOVES people and is never shy about showing how much. Prepare for tons of gentle love and over-the-top PDA!

She can be selective about her doggie friends (we feel you, girl!), so she’s looking for a home where she can be the one-and-only princess. With her intelligence, loving personality, and eagerness to learn, Gretel is more than ready to be one lucky human's very special girl! Handsome? Obviously! But he's also a total catch who checks ALL the boxes! He’s happy, super friendly, affectionate, LOVES other dogs, and is already 100% potty-trained and crate-trained! Basically, he's the whole puppy package, who has already mastered the hardest parts of puppyhood.

• Ozzie | 4 1/2 months | 25 lbs | Husky-Pit-Shepherd mix (based on his sibling’s DNA)
• Super friendly boy who is great with all other dogs. He’d definitely be thrilled to find a home with a playful canine sibling!
• 100% potty trained, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, & is a perfect gentleman in the car
• Everyone he meets is his new best friend at hello - humans, including kids, and dogs.
• Loves hanging out and playing with the kids in his foster home
