At just 3 months old, our foster girl Rainier is already showing us that life is meant to be one big adventure! 🥰

Rainier is one of our sweet mountain puppies, and she is taking full advantage of everything her foster home has to offer. From romping through the grass to playing with her favorite toys, this girl is busy discovering just how much fun being a puppy can be! 🎾🌿

But don't let that playful face fool you…Rainier is also an expert at the "Look cute and make everyone fall in love with me” game. And judging by those eyes, she's VERY good at it. ❤️

For now, she's enjoying her puppy days, learning about the world and soaking up all the love from her foster family. But somewhere out there is the family who will become her forever adventure crew. 🏡❤️

Rainier is ready to climb mountains, chase toys, make memories and fill a home with puppy love. 🏔️🐶

🎾 Who is having a BALL today? RAJAH IS! 🐾💙

Our foster boy Rajah is SO happy to be out of the shelter and discovering just how much fun life can be! And his favorite thing? PLAYING BALL! 🎾😂

Whoever adopts this boy better have a good throwing arm and a serious supply of tennis balls ready because Rajah is always up for another round! 🎾🎾🎾

Rajah is estimated to be around 2–3 years old and has already had some basic obedience. He’s gaining confidence every day as he experiences more of the world, and we think this handsome boy has SO much potential!

❤️ Meet Lily — Because Some Dogs, You Just Have to Say YES. ❤️

Every day, requests come into Doberman Underground from shelters and owners asking us to help their dogs. And then there are the days when THAT dog comes along—the one where you don't hesitate, you don't question, and you simply know: We are going to help her.

Meet Lily. 🐾

Lily was thrown from a vehicle and left to wander until she found her way into a local business. Thankfully, some incredibly kind people took her in, got her immediate medical care, and searched for her owners. When no one came forward, they contacted us.

They warned us that Lily might have cancer.

We didn't hesitate. And neither did our volunteers. ❤️

Homes were opened. Arms were opened. Hearts were opened.

Sadly, we now have confirmation that Lily does have cancer. The tumor is located between her eyes and is pressing into her nasal cavity. While the news is heartbreaking, Lily isn't letting it define her. Right now, this sweet girl is happy, loving, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get.

So now, we are getting a CT scan to see what we are dealing with and what plan can be made to give this 4-5 year Doberman a life.

We aren't looking for a miracle—we're looking to make every day she has left a really good day.❤️

Lily has entered hospice care, which means her days will be filled with the things every dog loves: **love, comfort, soft places to sleep, plenty of attention...and LOTS of treats!** 🍗🦴🍦

Lily may have been thrown away, but she will NEVER be forgotten.

She is now part of the Doberman Underground family, and we want her to know just how deeply she is loved.

Doberman Underground Rescue is proud to give senior Dobermans their second chance through our Seniors Owning Seniors (SOS) program.

Key highlights of the Seniors Owning Seniors (SOS) include:
- matches senior adopters (70+) with senior dogs (7+)
- seniors that have experience owning Dobermans
- SOS covers the cost of medications, prescription foods, heartworm prevention, and adopters, and friends.

Our SOS program is funded by your donations. If you would like to support this program please donate to www.dudobes.org so we can continue helping senior dogs and humans.

Sometimes a new beginning means leaving the past behind, and that’s exactly what Chase gets to do. From this day forward, he has a new name, a new family, and a whole new life ahead of him.

Tripp, one of our DU Alumni dogs, doesn’t mind a rainy day one bit! In fact, he LOVES it! 💦 He spends his rainy days trying to catch those raindrops right out of the sky. 😍

Because apparently, when you’re a Doberman, rain isn’t bad weather… it’s snack time! 😂🐶💧

Today, we honor the beloved pets who may no longer be by our side, but will forever remain in our hearts. 🐾❤️

They filled our lives with an abundance of love, joy, comfort, and memories that will never fade. They may have taken a piece of our hearts with them, but they also left paw prints 🐾 on our hearts that will last forever.
