The Dare to Repair Cafe is tomorrow! Come give your worn out, broken and bruised items a second chance at life. Bring an appliance, textile, bicycle, or other small item to the Cafe, and work alongside the experts to fix it. See you there!

Starting TODAY, the Village and Town are launching a free food scrap composting program! If you reside in the Village or Town, you can now bring your food scraps to the EA Department of Public Works (on Pine St) every Saturday from 9 am - 2 pm. This is a great way to reduce waste! All accepted food waste will be brought to Erie County’s composting facility, where it will be made into nutrient-rich “black gold.” ✨♻️

Looking back on Scoot Around June…this year, we scooted more than any other year! Congratulations to everyone who scooted, and thank you to our participating local orgs. Scooting 1621 miles instead of driving prevented over 600,000 grams of carbon from entering our atmosphere, making our community a cleaner, greener place to live. See you for next year’s event, and keep on scooting!

Embrace the practice of reusing instead of replacing and let the incredible folks from The Tool Library guide your repair. The Town of Aurora will be hosting a Cafe in late August, or you can check out other local workshops!
