Please Join Us to Support the Augusta Community
With the AAF Support Our School Fund

The Augusta Area Foundation is offering $10,000 in matching funds to support the Augusta School District in hiring a grant writer. The goal is to raise $40,000 for this position. The School Board endorses this initiative to identify grant sources to support our district and to collaborate with the City of Augusta in an effort to fiscally benefit the entire community.

We hope all community members will come together to help make this happen. Ultimately our goal is to benefit and attract families and businesses to the Augusta Community. For those who have already donated, thank you. A donation of any size will help us reach the end goal and benefit our entire community.

A very neat project The Augusta Area Foundation financially supported!

Samantha Hanson, a senior at Wildlands School, poured her time, care, and creativity into designing and building raised garden beds for her senior capstone project. What began as an idea has grown into something that will bring life, color, and nourishment to others.

This summer, her work will continue to give back as the garden beds are used to grow fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers at the Augusta Senior and Community Center.
