Catalyst is celebrating 15 years and we are glad to highlight our partnership at our resource fair.

Jody, a volunteer and local para athlete, and Lueisha, WOIL staff member, participate in an outdoor accessibility event. She is seated on a yellow recumbent tricycle, and Jody is in a wheelchair with a SmartDrive attachment. They are engaged in conversation near a beige canopy tent where other participants and outreach tables are visible. A wheelchair‑accessible van with a ramp is parked nearby. The scene demonstrates adaptive mobility equipment and inclusive community engagement consistent with independent living program outreach.

The last picture is of SC staff gathered on the front of our office in North Augusta after recent upgrades to the entry with a new concrete slope. The team had just had a random evacuation drill and paused for a random (and rare) group photo option.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month!
Let's work together to open doors and create opportunities for individuals with disabilities by encouraging companies to actively recruit from this diverse talent pool.
It's essential to support flexible work environments that embrace accommodations and assistive technologies.
Let's build spaces where value and talent can truly shine!
