Meet the incredible Lawless family, who have come together to take on the Hair with Heart challenge as one. Dad Nick, Mum Isabelle, and their beautiful children - Odello, Joash, Aliyah, and Augustine - have all stepped up in honour of Aliyah, and in support of burn survivors who are no longer able to grow their hair.

This is what true strength, love, and unity look like. As a family, they are not only donating their hair, but also giving hope, confidence, and a sense of identity back to children who need it most.

With over $5K already raised to their incredible $10K goal, their impact is already life-changing - and it’s only just the beginning.

At just 18-years-old, Charlotte has taken on the Hair with Heart challenge, inspired by some very special people in her life and by the children facing serious health challenges every day.

When asked what inspired her, Charlotte shared:

"My Nanna, my best friend’s mum, who are both breast cancer survivors, and my beautiful little cousin Evie, who at just four years old fights every day to prove her palliative heart condition wrong and create a long and incredible future."

Not only has Charlotte generously donated her hair, but she is also doing an amazing job fundraising!

Ever wondered what happens to your hair after you donate it? ✂️💜

It takes around 15–20 ponytails to create just one wig for a child experiencing medical hair loss.

After your hair arrives at Hair with Heart HQ, it’s carefully sorted before being sent to our incredible wigmaking partners. From there, the hair is individually measured, sorted and prepared, with each strand carefully selected to become part of a custom-made wig for a child in need.

It’s an incredible process — turning each and every generous chop into something that can help a child feel more confident and like themselves again.

Every ponytail and donation plays a part.
