Sapphire, you are an absolute champion!

By donating an incredible 63cm of hair, you’ve helped make a wig for a child experiencing medical hair loss - giving them the opportunity to regain their confidence, feel more like themselves, and smile again. We hope you’re loving your new look and enjoying feeling a whole lot lighter after such a big chop!

As if that wasn't amazing enough, Sapphire has also raised close to $3,000 for Hair with Heart.

Every dollar raised will help support children and families across Australia, providing vital equipment, therapy, programs and opportunities that empower kids to live without limits.

As long-standing supporters of Variety, the Kelly family know the difference generosity can make to children and families in need. Juliette recently took on the Hair with Heart challenge, raising close to $2,000 to support children experiencing medical hair loss.

Not only did Juliette donate her hair, she also used her Hair with Heart journey to inspire others. By holding her Big Chop at school, she helped raise awareness and educate fellow students about the positive impact their support can make for children experiencing medical hair loss.

On 1 September, participants in The Buzz Club will be buzzing their heads to raise vital funds for Variety's Hair with Heart program, supporting children experiencing medical hair loss.

For a child experiencing hair loss, a wig can be so much more than hair. It can provide comfort, confidence, choice and the freedom to feel like themselves again.

This is Sera’s third time participating, and this year makes it even more special by getting the kids involved for the very first time. After two years of growing their hair, the big chop has finally arrived! ✂️

It’s so inspiring to see families come together to make a difference for children experiencing medically related hair loss. By donating their beautiful hair, Sera, Tarik and Aksel are helping children regain their confidence, identity and, most importantly, their smiles.
