Auburn University Sigma Phi Lambda We are a community of college aged women who seek to grow in our relationship with Christ as we grow in relationship with each other.

Sigma Phi Lambda is a Christian sorority dedicated to glorifying God by offering a supportive fellowship for college women who earnestly seek to deepen their relationship with Him, understand His will, and live according to His principles.

I’m an out of state student who didn’t know a single soul when I came to Auburn. I made a lot of great memories my freshman year, but I still felt that something was missing in my life. I struggled to find God centered friendships, but thankfully I found my home away from home, Phi Lamb. I know now that my sisters were the missing piece that I so needed. I have never had friendships that were so genuine, deep, and caring as my ones with my sisters. These girls have brought a Christlike joy into my life that has changed me into a better person and I don’t know where I would be without them today. Thank you Bailey for your authenticity, Ella for your love of God, Abby for your kindness, and to my many sisters for teaching me what is is to be part of a God-centered sisterhood who lifts each other up on our journey home to Heaven.

Dear HG,
I’m so thankful to have a friend like you! Your faithfulness is an inspiration, your dedication to what and who you love is admirable, and your joy is infectious. I’m forever grateful to have a friend who dances with the joy of the Lord with me, from hoodie dances at chapter retreat to formal boogies 💃🕺. You love God so reverently and share His love with everyone. I know He has wonderful plans for you and I’m so proud of you! Love you bunches, but Jesus loves you more!!

I joined Phi Lamb this year, even though I never thought sororities were for me. I had been praying for Christ-centered friendships, and when I heard about Phi Lamb, I felt like it was where I was meant to be.

Since joining, I’ve found some of the sweetest girls who encourage me, support me, and help me grow in my faith. The friendships I’ve made here have made Auburn feel more like home, and I’m so thankful for the community and sisterhood I’ve found through Phi Lamb.

Dear Abby,
You are the best big a girl could ask for. When I first joined Phi Lamb, I was so scared I wouldn’t fit in. From the beginning, you made me feel welcomed and told me everything you knew about Phi Lamb and Auburn. I’m forever grateful for how you lighten up a car ride with your karaoke. The spring retreat was some of the most fun I’ve had since moving to Auburn, and I’m thankful to God for leading me to you and Phi Lamb. You always know how to light up a room while keeping Jesus in the center of your heart. I feel so blessed to have you in my life, and I know you will be the best chaplain that Phi Lamb could ask for! Where there is doubt, faith.

Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
