Founded in 1914, New Hampshire Audubon’s mission is to protect New Hampshire’s natural environment for wildlife and for people. It is an independent statewide membership organization with four nature centers throughout the state. Expert educators give programs to children, families, and adults at centers and in schools. Staff biologists and volunteers conduct bird conservation efforts such as the

Thank you to the wonderful staff from Work Opportunities Unlimited, who volunteered an afternoon to the Massabesic Center’s gardens! The group relocated plants and weeded garden edges, helping us complete a large, much-needed project in one afternoon. Join us for evening garden tours throughout the summer and explore the vibrant pollinator gardens and natural landscapes at the Massabesic and McLane Centers.

These guided tours offer an up-close look at how native plants, thoughtful garden design, and community partnerships can transform landscapes into thriving habitat for pollinators and wildlife. Along the way, you’ll discover how these gardens support bees, butterflies, birds, and other species while providing inspiration for creating habitat at home.

Tours will also highlight the collaborative efforts of staff, volunteers, garden clubs, and partner organizations who help care for and expand these spaces. We’ll share information about upcoming workshops, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in supporting pollinator conservation across New Hampshire.
