Join us for the 2025 Some Kind of Earth Day Festival on Saturday April 26th, 10am-4pm at the Auburn School Park Preserve.

We will open up the day with Morning Ceremonies honoring our connection with Mother Earth, the Air, the Water, the Land and all Life.

Stan Padilla will share a blessing, and some timely words to help unify & carry us forward in these times.

“Aunt Maggie” Magdalena Steele, Gma Betty & relatives will bless us and awaken our spirits with Drum (medicine) & native songs.

Mignon Geli and “Mountain Lion” Padilla will share original music and Earth songs (flute & drums).

And Desirae Harp will share some of her more traditional songs to wrap up our morning ceremonies. *She will also perform a longer set, later in the afternoon.

This year, we aim to build community by exploring a new economy; One we create together through connection, sharing and trading. And we want YOU to join! Come ready to network, trade, barter, talk to each other.. and find ways we can support one another locally + in our networks

Lots of things to look forward to this year, such as: live artists, pop and go puppet show, skill share workshops, thrifting, a kids art & poetry zone! Plus, there will be resources, orgs and causes we hope to connect you with & support.

Bring clothing, items to swap, food to share, etc

We have live music all day; a line-up you don’t want to miss:
Desirae Harp, Mentes Diferentes, Aaron Christopher, A.H.H.C Showcase, Raza on the 1’s and 2’s VinnyOnTheBeat with a Live Producer set and more TBA!
