All items listed for sale are FCFS (no holds) & we do not answer availability inquiries due to limited staffing. The mission of both CSS and St. Francis Gift & Thrift is to perform the Works of Mercy in response to the call of God. The thrift store serves as a resource for the community as a place to purchase needed items and gifts. We seek to provide quality items at affordable prices as well as

a pleasant shopping experience. What money the store makes is directly invested back into the community through assisting families and individuals in need. Francis Gift & Thrift operates through the generosity of our wonderful donors & volunteers. Both are essential to the operation of the store and are its greatest resource. Services provided through the Auburn outreach office M-TH include a food pantry, personal care items, & diapers. Financial assistance for those struggling to pay rent, utilities, car repairs, etc. can be requested Mondays 9 am – 12 pm. In 2017, I walked the Camino de Santiago across Spain with my younger brother, now Father Hile, Father Rodriguez, and several seminarians. As one of the oldest pilgrims in the group, I spent much of the month tending blisters, passing out Tylenol, and reminding exhausted young men to drink water.
