Great news! 🥫❤️

A local family has volunteered to take over our monthly can recycling trips, which means this ministry can continue!

Yesterday, they cashed in our latest load of cans and raised $459.60. That’s enough to purchase over 1,400 pounds of rice for the children at Hope Orphan Home! 🍚

Thank you to everyone who continues to save cans for our children. Something so simple really does make a difference!

🥫 We Need a Can Recycling Volunteer!

We need someone who can regularly take our trailer of collected cans to the recycling center once a month.

For the past 10 years, recycling cans has raised around $10,000 for Hope Orphan Home. Every can helps provide rice for a child in Sierra Leone. 🍚❤️

But without someone to make the monthly trip, the cans pile up and we may have to stop collecting them.

Could you help? If you’re willing to make this monthly trip from Athens to Springfield or know someone who is, please message us!

We recently received a very special gift at Hope Orphan Home. ❤️

A young boy spent months saving part of his allowance so he could send $20 to help care for the children at HOH.

Some might see twenty dollars. We see months of patience, sacrifice, and a heart that wanted to make a difference.

Thank you for reminding us that no gift given in love is ever too small. Your generosity has encouraged us more than you know. ❤️✨

Adventure was calling this week at Hope Orphan Home! ❤️🥾

Seventeen of the children completed a 4 km hike to Mambo Falls near the village of Mambo. The trek wasn't easy, but the beautiful waterfall at the end made every step worthwhile.

We're thankful for opportunities like these that encourage the children to try new things, enjoy God's creation, and make memories they'll carry with them for years to come. 🌿💙
