Meet Diego! One of our 2026 Juan Nevarez Memorial Scholarship Recipients.

Diego was the valedictorian of his class and a multi-sport athlete known for the example he sets both on and off the field. Internships with Energy Vault and Palisades Vineyards sparked his interest in engineering and renewable energy.

After a serious soccer injury during his senior year required reconstructive surgery, recovery forced him to slow down, lean on the people around him, and rethink what strength really looks like.

This fall, he will study mechanical engineering with the goal of developing clean technologies for the future.

Groundwater regulations continue to evolve across the Central Coast and beyond, and staying informed is more important than ever.

Join us for a regional SGMA update featuring representatives from groundwater agencies from Monterey, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Ynez, and San Antonio.

Mark Battany will share insights on how ET data is being used to support water management and planning decisions.

Attendees will also have the option to join a short vineyard tour with Taylor Jones (Star Lane & Dierberg) focused on eight years of no-till farming and native cover cropping. 🌱
