Groundwater regulations continue to evolve across the Central Coast and beyond, and staying informed is more important than ever.

Join us for a regional SGMA update featuring representatives from groundwater agencies from Monterey, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Ynez, and San Antonio.

Mark Battany will share insights on how ET data is being used to support water management and planning decisions.

Attendees will also have the option to join a short vineyard tour with Taylor Jones (Star Lane & Dierberg) focused on eight years of no-till farming and native cover cropping. 🌱

That means many are navigating college applications, financial aid, and the coursework once they're there without having a family member who’s done it before—all while working toward incredible goals.

Karol is one of those students. As she decides between nursing and dental hygiene, she’s gaining firsthand experience in medical offices and discovering how much she values connecting with and caring for patients. 💙

The Juan Nevarez Memorial Scholarship exists to help students like Karol pursue higher education, meaningful careers, and new opportunities.

✨ You may remember Lizbeth, an aspiring nurse who stayed committed to her goal despite a few bumps along the way.

Now she’s doing the work she worked so hard for, caring for patients during clinical rotations.

This semester she gained experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and the NICU. What once felt intimidating became a breakthrough when a nurse told her she has the instincts and focus to succeed in such a demanding unit.

She’s also excelling academically, earning two perfect exam scores while balancing clinicals, classes, and a part-time job.

Lizbeth is right where she’s meant to be. 💙
