For National Dog Day, staff and CEP friends shared pictures of their dogs on our Facebook post. Those dogs have now teamed up to acknowledge National Cat Day in this post. (Acknowledging was all they were willing to agree to do!)

So, we'd love to see your cats in the comments for ! While we are at it, feel free to share a picture of your dogs or other animals too. They are ALL worth celebrating every day. 🐾 And yes, while we are here to talk about your career and training options, most of us will gladly chat about pets for a couple of minutes, too. 😛

Reach out to us about how we can support your career and training goals!

⚾ We're rooting for the Brewers, and we're rooting for you! ⚾

The Brewers didn’t start the season as the favorites, but now they’re playing for a World Series championship! It takes talent, hard work, and a team backing you up to get that far. Whatever you’re working toward, it helps to have people in your corner, and that is where we come in. Whether you’re looking for your first job, changing careers, or considering more training, we can help you figure out your next steps. From résumés to interview preparation to exploring your options, you don’t have to do it alone.

We’re cheering for the Brew Crew, and we’d love to be part of your team, too. 💙💛

Career Planners Stacey and Becca enjoyed their time at the School District of Ladysmith's Life After High School College and Career Fair today!

They connected with students and shared how CEP can help them explore careers, gain work experience, and find education and training opportunities. There’s more than one path after high school, and we love helping students explore what might be a good fit for them!

Thank you to the School District of Ladysmith for bringing students and community partners together!

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of the Native Nations and Indigenous people here in Northwest Wisconsin.

We’re thankful for our Tribal partners and the chance to work alongside them to help people find jobs, build skills, and pursue new opportunities.

We hope you’ll take a little time today to learn about the Native Nations in our region and the people carrying traditions forward.

Mary, our IT Director, and Sue, our Program Director, were lending a hand at Tamarack Health - WhistleStop Marathon with the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce today! 🏃😊

Many of our employees volunteer in their communities, and we’re proud of the time and care they give. Local events, organizations, and community projects rely on people willing to help out, and we appreciate everyone who does.

If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, check with a local organization or event to see where you can help! Your local Chamber of Commerce could point you toward some options if you don’t know where to start.

P.S. Volunteering is also a great way to gain experience, build your résumé, and connect with people who could become great professional references.
