The Washburn County Job Fair is almost here, and we have a great list of registered employers and organizations joining us!

Stop by The Spooner Civic Center on Wednesday, June 10, from 11 AM to 3 PM to connect with local employers, explore career options, learn about training and support services, and see what opportunities are available in the area.

The Mobile Career Lab will also be on site to help with job search assistance, interview preparation, resumes, resources, labor market information, veteran job service assistance, and more.

Whether you are actively looking for work, thinking about a change, exploring training options, or just want to see what is out there, this is a great time to stop in.

Sue and Becca had a great day at the Washburn County Family Festival, talking with people of all ages about jobs, training, career goals, and what comes next. (And yes, they had fun making Fruit Loop Friendship Bracelets with booth visitors, too!)

They also met someone who shared that CEP supported her with training when she was 19 years old, and she went on to use that training throughout her entire career. ✨👏

We always love hearing stories like that because that is exactly what CEP is here for: helping people take the next step, whether that step is a first job, a new career, training, support, or figuring out where to even start.

We hope we get to hear a story like that from YOU someday, too.

⭐ HEY! Are you ready to take things to the next LEVEL with your skills, goals, and connections? ⭐

You are? GREAT. Northwest Wisconsin CEP is launching Next LEVEL Northwest, a youth career and training program for eligible youth and young adults ages 14-24.

This program is a great fit for young people who are ready to explore careers and opportunities, whether that means getting a first job, discovering a career path, starting training or education, developing soft and work skills, or simply figuring out where to begin. Participants will work with CEP to develop a plan and timeline customized to their goals, needs, and next steps to LEVEL up. ⬆️

Through Next LEVEL Northwest, participants may have the opportunity to:
- Explore local careers
- Build work skills, soft skills, and confidence
- Connect with local employers, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training opportunities
- Access paid work experience
- Meet mentors, community partners, and training providers

This is a great chance to build skills, earn while learning, and to see what is possible right here in Northwest Wisconsin.

Weekly virtual seminars begin July 1, with work experiences coordinated based on the participant's and worksite's needs.

Not between ages 14-24, but still need help with work, training, or your next step? Reach out anyway. CEP may have other programs or resources that fit where you are.

📢 Rescue Divas EMS Camp For Girls returns this August for a 10th Year!
📅 When: Sunday, August 2nd – Thursday, August 6th
📍 Where: CrossWoods Adventure Camp, Mason, WI
🌟 Who: Middle School girls (Current 6th - 8th grades) from Northwest Wisconsin
