Voting is taking place today, May 19th, 2026 at the Ashland High School from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

In Person - Women's Wisdom Circle: The Stories We Carry About Motherhood

Welcome to our Women's Wisdom Circle! This is a place for all women, including cis and trans women, to gather and talk about issues that matter to them! For this session Paula Topliffe will lead a discussion on: The Stories We Carry About Motherhood - An open and reflective conversation about the beliefs, expectations, and experiences that shape how we understand and live motherhood today.

We'll start out in a large group discussion and move into smaller groups with specific topics/questions to discuss.

About Paula Topliffe, our program coordinator:

Paula Topliffe is a longtime Ashland resident and volunteer with The Friends of the Ashland Public Library.

After forty one years working in financial services, Paula has retired. Her focus moving forward will be on finding the magic in everyday life, building a non denominational spiritual practice, and volunteering in the community. She looks forward to continued open and inclusive conversations .

NOTE: This is not a group therapy session, more a safe space to discuss issues that are important in women's lives. Paula, though, will have resources on hand if topics bring up the need for further assistance.

Registration is Requested so we know how many chairs to have out. And, you'll receive reminders which is great, right?

Just a reminder that Ashland's Annual Town Meeting is happening Wednesday, May 6th, at 7PM. Childcare is available but pre-registration is required! You can find more information, including the childcare registration form, in the event details or on the town's website.

Where & When:
Wednesday, May 6th, at 7PM. Annual Town Meeting is at Ashland High School in the Auditorium. (65 E Union St. Ashland, MA)

What is Annual Town Meeting?
The Annual Town Meeting gives registered voters the opportunity to decide on the town’s budget, local bylaws, and community priorities for the year ahead. This meeting allows residents to speak on the warrant articles, ask questions, and vote on specific proposals that have an immediate impact on daily life in Ashland.

When can I check in?
Check in will begin at 6:15PM. There will be extra staff checking people in this year but we still recommend showing up early. Annual Town Meeting will start at 7PM.

What happens if the auditorium fills up?
The first 550 people checked in will be in the auditorium. After this people will be directed to the overflow room which is the cafeteria where Town Meeting will be televised

If I'm in the overflow room am I still at Town Meeting? Can I vote?
Anyone in the overflow room is still at Town Meeting and can ask questions and yes, can vote. The Deputy Town Clerk will be moderating the overflow room.

It’s perfect weather to join us at the Ashland Public Library this morning for Little Crafters! We’ll be planting seeds and crafting some pollinator pals to go with them. See you at 10:30!

Come on down to the Corner Spot for our annual Kids Closet! Find gently used kid (wide range of ages!) and maternity clothes. We're here until 2 pm today.

We're only a little over a week away from our annual Kids Closet event (formally known as the Clothing Swap)! Swing on by the Corner Spot on April 25th from 10-2 to 'shop’ for gently used kid and maternity clothing.

Please note: you do NOT need to have donated clothing to join us!

Ashland Moms is holding our annual Kids Closet (formally known as the clothing swap) on April 25th and we’d love to see you there! Stop by anytime between 10-2 to ‘shop’ for gently used kid and maternity clothing.

Have clothing you’d like to donate? We’re accepting donations this Saturday from 3-5. If that time doesn’t work for you, please feel free to message me to coordinate a different day.

Please note: you DO NOT need to donate clothing to come shop!! See flyer below for more details.
