Let’s come together to clean up the roadside and creek area between Draper Street and Old Liberty Road and make a real impact in our community 💙

👖 What to wear/bring:
• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes (no flip flops)

Sometimes spring break means heading for the sun and the ocean — but this group chose something different. We were honored to welcome these college students to our weekly lunch meeting. They are spending their spring break volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping build a home for a local family here in our community. We are grateful they took a few minutes to share about the work they’re doing.

Welcome new member Joe Erba to Asheboro Rotary! Joe maintains a boutique consulting practice specializing in small, family-owned enterprises in need of strategic planning, operational and leadership development support.

He has been active in board roles for a variety of nonprofits over the years, including Habitat for Humanity, and Access Dental Care of Asheboro. He currently volunteers for the Bryan School of Business at UNCG, CUOC and Peacehaven Farm in Whitsett.

Field of Honor 2025! South Asheboro Middle School. There’s still time to buy a flag!

This community… it shows up. It stands tall. It remembers.

I snapped this in front of the Randolph County Sheriff’s MOBILE COMMAND CENTER because days like this remind me how many people work behind the scenes to protect our freedoms — and how many sponsors and volunteers make this annual tradition not just possible… but powerful.

The closing ceremony will be Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 12:00pm — and it’s always a moving, meaningful moment.

If you’ve never been out here during Field of Honor week, swing by. Walk the rows. Read the names. Feel what this community does for each other.

Together with the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber, the Asheboro Rotary Club proudly presents this moving display of American flags, each one sponsored to honor a hero — veterans, first responders, teachers, healthcare workers, or loved ones who inspire us every day.
