Today is Father’s Day in the Dominican Republic, and we want to honor two extraordinary men who have forever changed the lives of so many boys.

Happy Father’s Day, Pastor Pedro and Yeudy!

Pastor Pedro, thank you for following God’s call to found the orphanage. Because of your faith, compassion, and obedience, countless boys have been given a safe home, the opportunity to know Jesus, an education, and hope for a brighter future.

Yeudy, thank you for faithfully serving as the orphanage director. Your tireless work, and steadfast leadership have impacted these boys in ways that words can never fully express. Youguide them, and make countless sacrifices every single day to help them become the young men God created them to be.

To both of you- your patience, wisdom, and sacrifice are a beautiful reflection of the love of our Heavenly Father.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless you, and reward your faithful service. Thank you for pouring your lives into these precious boys.

Today we are starting to share the artists from Helping Hands.

Roberto is one of the young men at Helping Hands Orphanage in the Dominican Republic. He loves playing basketball, spending time at the beach, listening to music, playing video games, and making people laugh. He also enjoy helping Pastor Pedro, serving on our leadership team, and translating for visiting medical teams from the United States.

In his words: I'm thankful for everyone who has encouraged and supported me along the way. I'm working hard to build a bright future, and every design I create helps me gain experience while supporting my education. Thank you for supporting Helping Hands Orphanage and for being part of my journey—it truly means a lot to me!

Whether you’re creating beautiful artwork, competing in chess, learning about science and technology, practicing jujitsu, playing basketball or soccer, or diving into the world of anime and Japanese culture, you always inspire us with your passion for learning and trying new things.

Your gentle heart, patience, and willingness to help others make you even more special. We love seeing you faithfully serve on our worship team by playing the flute, and we’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished—from competing in the national chess competition to using your computer skills to assist others through transcription work.

So proud of Samuel! 🇲🇽

Today, his school held a debate where each student represented a different country and defended why artificial intelligence (AI) is important to that nation’s future. Samuel proudly represented Mexico, presenting thoughtful ideas about how AI can help improve each country.

It was wonderful to see samuel learning to think critically, research global issues, and confidently defend his ideas. I’m so proud of Samuel for all his hard work!
