Domestic violence is not always physical.
Abuse can involve control over finances, relationships, technology, beliefs, emotions, or a person’s ability to make their own choices. Some forms of abuse leave visible injuries. Many do not. This , know the signs and remember that abuse does not have to become physical to be serious. 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

This month, we honor survivors, remember those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, and stand with those who are still finding their way to safety.

At the Family Crisis Center, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard. Throughout October, we’ll be sharing resources, raising awareness, and reminding our community that support is available.

Come Country for the Cause 🤠💜

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and helped make Come Country for the Cause such a fun and memorable evening! From great food and live music to dancing, laughter, and a few brave mechanical bull riders, it was a night to remember.

A special thank you to JB & Claire Davis, Corey Hunt and the Wise, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, NC, George’s Carry Out, Chick-fil-A, and everyone who helped make this event possible. We are also incredibly grateful for our attendees, board members, and staff for their support, time, and hard work.

It is because of the support of our community that we are able to serve survivors and work toward a safer community, free of violence. Thank you for showing up for the Family Crisis Center! 💜
