Brethren,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce WB Mike Mabe laid down his working tools and entered into that house not made with hands on Friday, February 20th, 2026.

Our brother was a 25-year Mason and Past Master of Asheboro Lodge #699. Even in death, he continues his Masonic contributions; in lieu of flowers, he requested that all memorials be made specifically to our lodge. We are deeply honored and appreciate his dedication greatly.

Our brother served his God, his family, and our lodge faithfully and we know the supreme architect has a place for him in that spiritual temple.

Masonic Rites will be given at the graveside only this Saturday at:

New Hope Gardens Memorial
3448 New Hope Church Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205

The Masonic Graveside Service will begin at 10:00 AM, please be there early if you would like to participate.
Gloves and aprons will be provided by Asheboro Lodge #699.

We extend our congratulations to Camrin Pacheco and Jacob Garner on achieving the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The degree was superb, and appreciation is expressed to everyone involved for their dedication to the craft. This is what Freemasonry is all about. So mote it be.
