We ask your prayers for a former resident of St Michael House, Phil. A couple of months ago he found employment and housing, but just recently suffered a stroke and was hospitalized for a week. He’s back home now, where another former St Michael House resident, Perry, is looking after him. Phil’s long term prognosis is good, but short term challenges remain. (The photo, by the way, is of Phil before the stroke, working at his commercial cleaning job.)

Last month, Living With Convictions board member Flannery McGale attended the Jubilee of Prisoners Mass at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome. While waiting for the mass to begin, Flannery, who was joined by LWC Executive Director Joshua Stancil, made this watercolor sketch of Bernini’s “Cathedra Petri.”
