Good evening Spikers! Wow what a great day it was yesterday! I was very impressed with both your sportsmanship and also the volleyball skills you displayed. It was amazing that we were able to win GOLD on the day! In fact we didn't even lose a set, so really all your hard work paid off. But you know, it isn't always about winning... I felt like we did a great job coming together as a team to support one another even when we were behind. To me, that is the most important because I know there will be days when we just don't play our best, but we will always have each other as teammates to support us when it isn't going our way!

Athletes from Loudoun participated in Unified Fore Joy ProAm golf tournament. This was an amazing event sponsored by Brightspot and raised over $30,000 for Special Olympics Virginia. Loudoun athletes were thrilled to included in this event.

Special Olympics International President David Evangelista joined us, while ESPN’s Victoria Arlen competed alongside our athletes and helped hand out medals. Topgolf leadership also joined us as they continue creating opportunities for Special Olympics athletes across the country.

Topgolf’s leadership said Special Olympics has made Top Golf a better company.
