Now a daily occurance at Exit 11 in Union Township. More and earlier NO TRUCK signs are needed. Trucks are constantly coming off Exit 11 into the residential neighborhoods and then trying to back out!

No More Warehouses and No More Trucks please. The conditions on the Township roads are so dangerous already!

Warehouse sprawl is a local, county, and statewide issue. More people are recognizing the impact that mega-warehouses pose on our communities, as are political candidates. Steven Fulop has called for a state moratorium on massive warehouse construction projects that are removing valuable open space. Implementing a statewide moratorium on warehouse approvals until a statewide study on best practices is completed, and pushing for statewide changes to land use laws, is a strong example of how sustainability initiatives can address New Jersey warehouse sprawl.

Standing room only attendance at tonight's Planning Board/Board of Adjustment Meeting at the Union Township Municipal Building!

Our residents came out on a cold night and filled the room. Please continue to attend all meetings. Your presence is already driving greater transparency and inclusion of the residents' scrutiny is visible.

Next important meetings are January 22nd, where the Township's Round 4 Affordable Housing obligation and counter-proposal will be discussed. Then, January 23rd the Completeness of the Warehouses application by Shelbourne.

The Residents are already making a difference! It is going to be a long haul of meetings and hearings for many months and we ask you to remain committed to help drive a favorable outcome for our Township.
