This Memorial Day, one table at The Grace Table is already reserved. 🇺🇸💛

Today we honor the brave men and women who never made it home… those who gave their lives in service to our country, those still missing, and those who endured as prisoners of war.

Before The Grace Table ever opens its doors, before the first meal is served, it felt important to pause and remember the sacrifices that made our freedoms possible.

The empty table represents more than loss. It represents courage. Honor. Service. And the lives forever changed by that sacrifice.

As we continue building this dream and working toward the future of The Grace Table, we do so with grateful hearts for those who gave so much for others.

Today we remember the fallen, pray for their families, and honor the legacy they leave behind.

From our family to yours, thank you to all who have served and sacrificed. 🇺🇸

Because everyone deserves a seat. đź’›

Some seasons of life feel heavier than others. đź’›

There are moments when life stretches us, humbles us, and reminds us how much people truly need grace, comfort, and community.

Lately, I’ve been reminded that behind almost every smile is a story people may never fully see.

Someone fighting to stay strong.
Someone rebuilding.
Someone carrying burdens quietly.
Someone just trying to make it through the day.

That’s part of why The Grace Table matters so much to me.

Not just as a restaurant… but as a place where people can sit down, breathe for a moment, feel welcomed, and know they are not alone.

A warm meal.
A kind word.
A prayer.
A second chance.
Sometimes those things mean more than we realize.

So if life has felt heavy lately, I just want to encourage you today:

Keep going.

Healing takes time.
New beginnings take faith.
And even in difficult seasons, God is still working in ways we cannot always see yet.

Thank you for continuing to believe in this vision and walk this journey with me. đź’›

Just dreaming out loud a little today… 💛

I put together a sample dream menu for what The Grace Table could look like one day.

A menu filled with comfort food, southern favorites, a little Tex-Mex flavor, and meals made to bring people together around the table.

This is still part of the vision stage, so I’d truly love your input.

👇 Tell me in the comments:

✨ What item would you order first?
✨ What should I add?
✨ What should I remove?
✨ What’s your favorite kind of comfort food meal?

I want The Grace Table to feel like home, and some of the best ideas come from the people we hope to serve.

Take a look and let me know what y’all think. Your feedback really matters to me. 💛

Good morning from The Grace Table đź’›

Just a little reminder as we start this new day…

We’re still here.
We’re still believing.
We’re still working toward the goal.

The Grace Table is still in the building stages, but the mission is alive and moving forward every day.

A place where people can be fed.
A place where prayer is welcomed.
A place where second chances are real.
A place where everyone knows they matter.

Some dreams take time to build, especially the ones with purpose behind them.

Thank you to everyone following along, praying, encouraging, and believing in this vision with me. Your support means more than you know.

We may not be there yet… but we are still on the way.

Everyone deserves a seat. đź’›

Let me ask you something… 💛

If there was a place in our community where:

🍽 You could enjoy a good meal
🙏 Be prayed for (only if you wanted)
đź’› Know that someone could eat because you paid it forward
🤝 And people were given real second chances

…would you support it?

This is the heart behind The Grace Table.

A place where food, faith, and community come together in a real and meaningful way.

I truly believe something like this is needed… but I’d love to hear from you.

Would you support a place like this?

And what would it mean to you personally?

Good Sunday morning from The Grace Table đź’›

This morning I’m spending time at church with my family and friends, and I’ve just been sitting in gratitude for everything God is already doing.

Over the past few days, so many of you—my people—have followed along, encouraged me, prayed, and believed in this vision.

And I just want you to know…

This isn’t just a dream I had.

This is something God placed on my heart.

The Grace Table is a mission.

A mission to create a place where people can come as they are,
be fed, be prayed for, and be reminded that they matter.

A place for second chances.
A place for grace.
A place where no one feels alone.

Being surrounded by my church family this morning just reminds me even more why this matters so much.

Because this is what community looks like.
This is what love in action looks like.

And I truly believe that same heart is what will fill The Grace Table one day.

Thank you for being part of this with me from the very beginning.

Everyone deserves a seat. đź’›

He is Risen. ✝️

Today we celebrate the hope, grace, and new life that Easter represents.

A reminder that no matter how broken things may feel…
there is always redemption.
There is always restoration.
There is always a new beginning.

That truth is at the heart of The Grace Table.

A place where people can come just as they are…
where grace is given freely…
and where second chances are not just possible, but welcomed.

Because of Him, we have hope.
Because of Him, we have new life.
Because of Him, we have a seat at the table.

Wishing you and your family a beautiful and blessed Easter. đź’›

A New Beginning

This week, someone very close to me made one of the hardest and bravest decisions of her life.

She chose to leave a situation that was unsafe… and step into the unknown for the sake of her children.

Right now, she and her babies are safe.

And that alone is something I will never take for granted.

I won’t share details out of respect for her story—but I will say this:

There are so many people quietly walking through situations like this.
Trying to find the courage to leave.
Trying to rebuild.
Trying to start over.

And sometimes what they need most isn’t anything complicated…

It’s safety.
It’s support.
It’s someone showing up.
It’s a place where they are treated with dignity and care.

That’s been on my heart heavily this week.

And it’s reminded me, more than ever, why The Grace Table matters.

Because I believe there should be places in our communities where people can walk in—no matter what they’ve been through—and feel safe, welcomed, and not alone.

Places where kindness is real.
Where second chances are possible.
Where people are seen.

This dream isn’t just about a restaurant.

It’s about creating a space like that.

And I believe now more than ever…

Everyone deserves a seat. đź’›

Why This Dream Matters to Me

The vision for The Grace Table didn’t come from a business plan.

It came from life.

Over the years I’ve seen firsthand how powerful second chances can be. I’ve seen how people can rebuild their lives when someone believes in them, encourages them, and gives them an opportunity to start again.

I’ve also seen how something as simple as sharing a meal can bring people together in ways that break down walls and build real community.

The Grace Table is my dream for a place where those things come together.

A place where someone can enjoy a warm meal because another person quietly paid it forward through the Grace Board.

A place where people who are rebuilding their lives after addiction, incarceration, or difficult seasons can find meaningful work and encouragement.

A place where kindness is normal, prayers are lifted up, and strangers become neighbors.

It’s still just a vision right now, but I truly believe something beautiful could grow from it.

Because at the heart of this dream is something simple but powerful:

Everyone deserves a seat.

If this vision resonates with you, I’d love for you to follow along as the journey unfolds.

The Mission Behind The Grace Table

The Grace Table is more than a restaurant.

It’s a vision for a place where food, kindness, and second chances come together to build community.

Here’s what that looks like:

🍽 Great Food & Hospitality
A welcoming diner where people gather around comforting meals and genuine hospitality.

đź’› The Grace Board
Guests can pay forward meals so someone in need can come in and eat with dignity.

🤝 Second Chances
Providing employment opportunities for people rebuilding their lives after addiction, incarceration, or hardship.

🏡 Community Around the Table
A place where strangers become neighbors and everyone is welcomed.

Because at the heart of this vision is something simple but powerful:

Everyone deserves a seat.
