Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child at a time. Local Kiwanis Clubs sponsor the various school age clubs.

Kiwanis clubs, located in 80 nations, help communities in countless ways. Each community’s needs are different—so each Kiwanis club is different. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen. Kiwanis Clubs around the world have always been concerned with and involved in the welfare of young people and their families. Membership is open to all men and women, regardless of color, creed or religious affiliation. Kiwanis Sponsored Youth Programs include: K-Kids for students between the ages of 6 & 12, Builders Club for middle and junior high age students, Key Club International for high school students, Circle K International for university students. Advisors for clubs in schools are from school administration and staff. Kiwanis International empowers people at every stage of life to become competent, capable and compassionate leaders by helping them learn to help others. Through its Service Leadership Programs, Kiwanis enables its yougest leaders to serve their communities, opening doors for them to change the world.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our long-time members, Rev. Kay Lancaster. In honor of her, we have cancelled tomorrow's club meeting and ask our club members to attend her services instead.

Kay was a beloved community member and touched the hearts of many. We were honored to have her be a part of our mission and will miss her dearly. A celebration of life for Pastor Kay Lancaster will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Arlington, with a reception to follow in the Great Hall. You can join us on our page for a livestream option.

Sharing is caring! We are sharing local assistance information to help spread the word to families in need.

While our crew works on collecting school supplies to distribute directly to teachers, many other wonderful organizations are handing out much-needed supplies directly to the community. Check out this special event this July.

On May 13, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Arlington hosted an end-of-the-year BUGS ceremony for South Davis Elementary. At this time of the year, the children are ecstatic and excited for summer fun.

What a better way to kick off the end of the school year than by celebrating all of their hard work these past few months? Two lucky A&B honor roll students won brand new bikes and are going to be able to ride into summer with style😎.

This April, our club hosted the 2026 Teacher of the Year luncheon🍎. We are proud to announce Rebecca Clesse from Arlington Collegiate at TCC-SE, Heaven Tello from Barnett Junior High School, and Pamela Lewis from Morton Elementary School as our TOY award recipients. Congratulations, ladies, for your outstanding work🎉!

It is an honor to be able to congratulate such hard working and talented individuals. Thank you to everyone for coming out. And a great big shout out to our nine specially recognized educators as well!
