We help them with employment, assist them in getting their GED or should they desire to go back to school, we provide the counseling they need after they leave the shelter, we help them built a budget, show them how to write a resume, we help with furnishing their new home and we help with tutoring for the teens. Its a mentorship program with men and women volunteers that come and volunteer their
time to impact a youth that is currently in the shelter and assumes the responsibility to ensure that they stay on a positive path. This program is for the age group 8-18 years old. We have a program called Finding Yourself this program is geared both men and women and it helps them with their self esteem, helps them with job searches, self respect, with trust issues, and teaching them how to living after the abuse. We also host a 10/5K Run/Walk in Arlington TX to promote Domestic Violence Awareness. During our events we also honor a victim that has overcome or lost their life behind Domestic Violence. We also host a Co-Ed Softball tournament in Houston TX.
