The Airpower Foundation funds over 72 military support organizations through grants which are carefully vetted by the Board of Directors to ensure every dollar donated directly reaches those who need it most. Our mission is simple and the scope is so important that it grows every year: “it’s all about the families.”

The Airpower Foundation is proud to host the largest annual military support eve

nt in the nation, Sky Ball. Sky Ball XX will be hosted at Globe Life Field with the Texas Rangers in 2022. The Airpower Foundation volunteer board of directors is a diverse group of professionals who use their time and spend countless hours visiting military installations and families, and assessing needs and grant requests. They are instrumental in providing leadership to organize and execute numerous projects every year in support of military families. We could not do what we do without our countless volunteers that step up consistently when called upon to donate their time and their talent to execute our many events.

Today we share in the collective grief over the passing of Medal of Honor Recipient Colonel Bruce Crandall. Colonel Crandall was a national hero that continued to inspire all he met long after his time in the Army had ended. We were honored to host him many times at our Sky Ball events.

Thank you for your service and friendship, Colonel Crandall. Rest in peace.
