STEM in action! 🚀

Today our students took on the Marshmallow & Spaghetti Tower Challenge—a hands-on engineering activity where creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving were put to the test. Using only spaghetti noodles and marshmallows, students worked together to design and build the tallest free-standing tower they could in just 25 minutes.

Along the way they explored real engineering concepts like strong foundations, triangle supports, and structural balance while practicing communication and perseverance when designs didn’t go as planned.

This activity aligns with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and helps students build critical STEM skills in a fun, engaging way.

At Finding Me Academy Global, we believe learning should be interactive, innovative, and inspiring—because the skills students build today help construct the leaders of tomorrow.

Today our 3rd–8th grade scholars at Finding Me Academy Global and the Worth Heights After School Program became AI Detectives! 🤖✨

In just 25 minutes, students explored what Artificial Intelligence is, how it learns from data, where we see it in everyday life, and how it impacts future careers. Each student used their mobile device to research real-world questions, rotate leadership roles, and collaborate as a team.

From discovering how algorithms recommend videos to discussing AI ethics and future jobs, our youth showed curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence.

We are committed to preparing world-changing leaders who are technology-aware, future-ready, and purpose-driven. 💡🌍

Finding Me Academy Global is truly grateful for the partnership with Fort Worth Parks and Recreation “Rising Stars” Program. We are teaching our youth the importance of actively listening and not listening to respond, speaking slowly and clearly to articulate their thoughts and to be slow to become angry. A lot of conflicts can be resolved by using this strategy.
