🎉 The first week of school is almost here, and we can't wait to see everyone back at Jones Academy!

The Jones Academy Dad's Club is excited to kick off another amazing school year with two great opportunities to get involved:

⭐ Meet the Teacher – Monday, August 10
Stop by the Dad's Club table! We will be welcoming all the students, meeting new families, and sharing what the Dad's Club is all about.

If you're a dad (or male role model) who's been thinking about getting involved, we'd love to meet you! Bring your kids by, say hello, and learn how easy it is to join us. Better yet, invite another dad to stop by with you!

👏 Back-to-School Clap-In – Wednesday, August 12
One of our favorite traditions! We'll line the entrance to welcome every student back with smiles, cheers, and plenty of high-fives as they start the new school year.

More details about the Clap-In will be shared soon.

💙 A special shout-out to our Kindergarten families: Enjoy those first-day moments—they only happen once! We'll have plenty of dads helping welcome everyone back, so stop by whenever you're ready.

Here's to another year of serving our students, supporting our teachers, and building an even stronger Jones Academy community. We can't wait to see everyone next week! 👊

🌿 Calling all Jones Dads! 💪

The Jones Academy PTA will be at the school tomorrow working on several projects to get the outdoor classroom ready for the first day of school. If you're available, we'd love for you to join us!

📍 Jones Academy – Outdoor Classroom

Things we hope to accomplish:
🌱 Weeding the flower beds and adding fresh dirt (update: we have pumpkin vines! 🎃)
☂️ Unpacking and setting up new table umbrellas
🧱 Building two new paver platforms for the incoming potting tables
🛖 Relocating the existing supply shed under cover and onto the concrete
🥤 Installing the cup sign along the fence

It's a lot to tackle, so come for a bit or stay as long as you'd like. Every extra set of hands helps!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring your kids, spouse, or the whole family and let's knock it out together! 💪👊🫶🏼

REMINDER -- Donuts with Dudes is tomorrow morning at 7:40 a.m. in the school cafeteria! Hope to see you there!!

This Friday, April 17! Rise and shine and get an early morning sugar fix at the last “Donuts with Dudes” of the school year! Volunteers with the Jones Dad’s Club will be in the cafeteria with 🍩 and ☕ from 7:40 a.m. until 8:20 a.m. (or until we run out). See you then! Want to know more about Dad’s Club for next year — we’ll be happy to fill you in. 😀

Can you tell this is normally a full size roller skating rink? It takes a lot of volunteers to transform the space into our Annual Bingo Night and Silent Auction and we could use more help!
