One Night Without a Home- UTA One Night Without a Home- UTA One Night is an event associated with the Health and Homelessness committee of UTA Volunteers.

Founded on a group of students as a response to 9/11. UTA Volunteers has evolved to a planned organization with 5 separate committees (Health and Homelessness, Animals and Environment, Seniors and Disabilities, Youth and Education and Membership) who each have various monthly volunteer activities and one large event per semester. One Night is created in the hopes to create awareness about the caus

es of poverty and homelessness, is a simulation of outdoor sleeping, and aims to promote advocacy and leadership in students who will then go on and create change that will benefit the community.

If you like to play basketball and think you would like to compete for the title of "King of the Court"" and various prizes sign up for UTA Volunteers first annual Ballin' for a Cause Tournament! $25 a team (up to 7 per team, 5 on the court), 4 divisions, proceeds go to Arlington Life Shelter!

April 16, 17 and 18 from 4p- 9p held at the MAC. 5- on- 5 tournament with max of 7 per team. Please have ONLY the team captain register, all proceeds will be donated to the Arlington Life Shelter.
