Cody Rocamontes Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization. Find us on Facebook Causes Cody Rocamontes Incorporated is a 501c3 Non-Profit. Formed in 2009, we were established after the death of a beloved skateboarder in Arlington. Cody was hit by a car while walking to his favorite skate spot behind Big Lots on I20/Green Oaks. He was a local celebrity of sorts amoung the skateboarding and local mus

ic scene, but a best friend to everyone. After his passing, the need for a skatepark to honor his dedication to the sport and to his friends seemed the right thing to do. Since forming we have not only re-opened the bond package for a City Skate park, we have also become active in many community events and awareness campaigns. We have kept our goals while being able to help other groups reach theirs.

This is neat. We received an e-mail this morning from a UPS spokesperson that they've picked up on the Arlington Voice story about the Cody Rocamontes Skatepark that recently opened in Randol Mill Park, and will be sharing it with their audience of over 878,000 followers on Facebook. Of course, the awesome photography by Jason Waite Photography is what sold it. http://ow.ly/kRMHw
