Meet Dominique
Author. Advocate. Entrepreneur. Mentor. Educator. Notary. A voice for survivors and a fighter for freedom. Domestic violence entered Dominique’s life 20 years ago, leaving wounds that ran deeper than flesh. She endured brutal physical violence, relentless psychological torment, and sexual abuse that threatened to silence her. At just 19, she became a mother, forced to carry unbearable pain behind closed doors while showing the world a mask of strength. That silence almost swallowed her whole but she chose to rise. Today, Dominique no longer hides her story. She wields it. What was once her shame has become her weapon. Her truth is her fire, and her mission is to speak for those who are still trapped in cycles of abuse.

Her journey is one of resilience, courage, and hope—a reminder that healing is possible and your voice matters.

Our 3rd Annual DV Brunch was more than an event — it was a space for raising awareness, empowering our community, and honoring the strength in every survivor’s story.

We want to acknowledge our dear who was set to join us but was unable to attend due to being in the ICU. We are lifting him up in love and prayer as he recovers. 🙏
