What an incredible community. πŸ’™

Every dollar given in February went directly to Tarrant County families fighting cancer. Each of those families now knows they are not alone.

Thank you for making this possible!

Meet Biunca. She is just 35 years old, and she is fighting breast cancer with everything she has. Chemotherapy. Radiation. Now, she's waiting on a double mastectomy.

She hasn't stopped fighting for a single day.

While she's been focused on surviving, the bills haven't stopped. This is exactly why the Gregg Pearson Foundation exists.

Would you stop and say a prayer for her today? If you feel led to give, every dollar goes directly to North Texas families like Biunca's. Link in bio. 🧑

Today, we pause to remember those who gave everything and to hold close the families we have walked with through loss.

Their courage stays with us.

Rest well to all those we have loved and lost. You are not forgotten. πŸ’›

Early detection doesn't just change outcomes; it gives families more time together.

Caught early, skin cancer is one of the most treatable cancers there is.

This May, we are asking our North Texas community to do three simple things: schedule the skin check, make the appointment, and share this with someone who needs the nudge.πŸ’›

Meet this week's Fighter in Focus: Angela Cates.

Angela is 55 years old and battling endometrial cancer. She's a realtor, and her husband serves their community as a teacher and coach. They are a family that has spent their lives showing up for others.

Now, it's our turn to show up for them.

The Gregg Pearson Foundation is honored to walk alongside Angela during this season. If you feel led, would you stop and say a prayer for her today? πŸ™

And if you'd like to help support families like Angela's, the link to donate is in our bio. Every dollar stays right here in North Texas.

Some of the most powerful things we can offer families walking through cancer are our prayers and encouragement.

Right now, there are several individuals in our community who are facing incredibly difficult diagnoses. Treatments, hospital visits, uncertainty… it can feel overwhelming. But we believe no one should walk through a battle like this alone.

If you’re someone who believes in the power of prayer, we invite you to pause for a moment today and lift up the families currently being supported by the Gregg Pearson Foundation.

Pray for strength.
Pray for healing.
Pray for peace for their families.

And if you feel led, leave a short prayer or word of encouragement in the comments so these families know an entire community is standing with them. πŸ’›

Meet our Fighter in Focus: Jose Cruz Gonzalez.

Jose is 59 years old and has spent his life working with his hands to provide for his family. As the sole provider for his household, he has never stopped showing up for the people he loves.

Right now, Jose is battling multiple myeloma.

When our team connected with Jose and his family, there was an extra layer of care needed, as they do not speak English. That is where Melina (shown on the far right of the photo) came in. She is our new translator working alongside our MOB, and her presence made all the difference. Because of her, Jose and his family could be truly heard and supported.

That is what this community is built on. Not just writing a check, but showing up in a way that says: we see you, and you are not alone.

Please keep Jose and his family in your prayers this week. And if you feel led to support families like his, 100% of your donation goes directly to families in need right here in Tarrant County. πŸ’›

Over the years, we have had the honor of sitting with some of the strongest mothers we have ever met.

Mothers who drove to treatment and still made dinner. Moms who cried in private so their kids wouldn't see, and ones who kept showing up for their families in the middle of the hardest season of their lives.

To the mothers in our community: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone.

Happy Mother's Day. πŸ’›

Meet Edellrius. He is five years old, and he is one of the bravest people we have ever had the privilege of walking alongside.

Edellrius was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that attacked his optic nerve and caused him to lose his left eye. But here is the part that stopped us in our tracks: Edellrius is excited. He is getting a prosthetic eye, and he cannot wait.

His family has walked through this season with grace and gratitude. They are deeply thankful for every bit of support that has come their way, and it has been an honor to come alongside them.

Please keep Edellrius and his family in your prayers. Pray for strength, for healing, and for that little boy's bright future. πŸ’›
