Fighter in Focus: Walter Zeller 💙
Walter Zeller is 58 years old, and he is carrying something that most of us will never fully understand. A diagnosis of multiple myeloma is enough to bring anyone to their knees. Add a pituitary tumor to that, and the weight becomes almost unimaginable.
Walter is unable to work, and his wife, who is also facing her own health struggles, recently lost her job as well. Together, they are raising their two teenage grandsons, showing up for those boys every single day despite everything they are walking through themselves.
That is not just strength. That is love in action.
When our team visited Walter, one of our generous MOB members made sure those teenage boys were taken care of too... stepping up with gift cards to help put food on the table. It is exactly the kind of moment that reminds us what this community is made of.
