Shelter2Rescue Coalition is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe-rehoming of shelter animals. We started as a rescue facilitation organization, helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs and cats, thereby dramatically reducing the need to euthanize for space. Then, as we worked with more shelters, it became very apparent that if we could just buy the dogs or cats up

for euthanasia just a little more time, you could save even more lives. The 72-hour hold limit at most shelters just wasn't enough for most dogs/cats to get out. Therefore, we expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations and other nationwide rescues in order to be able to provide a temporary safe haven for dogs out of time. We have our own Shelter2Rescue Coalition adoption program. Our main program with our rural shelters is NoKill Rural Texas,found on FB. Since June 2006, through facilitation and adoption, Shelter2Rescue Coalition volunteers have saved over 7000 dogs and cats, the number grows as we do. We do our best to match up potential adopters with just the right pet as we want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with reference and vet checks, home visit when able. If the match is a good one, we then have an adoption contract that is executed. We have a commitment not only to our adopted dogs and cats, but also to the families that adopt them, and we are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues - or to just give you someone to brag to about your new baby.

Hey there! My name is Ho-Bo and I’m basically happiness on four legs. 🖤

This adorable 1-year-old Lab mix is a goofy, playful guy who wakes up every day ready for fun, adventures, and making new friends. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, going for walks, or just being silly to make you laugh, Ho-Bo is always ready to bring the energy.

And let’s talk about those ears… they may honestly be the funniest ears ever. 🐾😂

Ho-Bo loves people and would be happiest with someone who wants a best friend by their side. He’s got a big smile, an even bigger personality, and enough love to keep your days full of laughter.

This happy little face pretty much sums up Seth. Give him a place to explore, some doggie friends to play with, and people to love, and he’s one content little guy.
At 3½ years old, Seth is past the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of fun in him. He enjoys playing with other dogs, loves being part of whatever is going on, and when the fun is over, he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious snuggle time. 💙
He’s also an easy little companion to take along — good in the car and nice on a leash. Basically, Seth is ready for someone who wants a little buddy to play with, travel with, cuddle with and simply do life with.

Just a reminder we are still sharing Hansel. Hes approx 3 years old. Very handsome and loves people! He seems to have a permanent smile and happiness about him.
He is deaf but that really doesn't make much difference. He responds to simple training.

Gunner is staying with one of our larger foster homes, which means he gets to be around other dogs. He is really enjoying being out of the shelter. All dogs want and need are time to be out of brick walls of the shelter and human communication. Well, food, fun and exercise as well.
Gunner is available for adoption and is ready for his forever home.
He is a Catahoula, that coat is pretty cool looking. He's approx 56lbs so a medium size.
