A whole year of movie nights? Yes, please.

A huge thank you to Mike Dingess and SMG. for their generous donation to this year’s Swinging for a Cause auction: Movies for a Year at Studio Movie Grill.

One lucky bidder will take home 104 movie tickets, enough for two tickets every week for an entire year. That’s a lot of popcorn, date nights, family outings, and trips to the movies.

Join us Sunday, Dec. 6, at Globe Life Field for the 10th annual Swinging For a Cause and your chance to bid on this incredible package and many more.

Donations like this help make our auction a success while supporting The Sandlot Children’s Charity and our work to create more opportunities for individuals with disabilities through sports and recreation.

Interested in donating an item or experience to our auction? We’d love to hear from you. Visit bit.ly/26SFACAuction to get involved.

A huge thank you to J.J. Pearce, senior and Eagle Scout Jackson R. for putting his creativity and skills to work for The Sandlot Children’s Charity!

For his final Eagle Scout project, Jackson designed and built interactive games that our team can use while tabling at community events. His project gives us a fun, engaging way to connect with families, share our mission, and introduce more people to the work Sandlot is doing throughout North Texas.

We’re grateful to Jackson for choosing to use his project to support our mission and for creating something our organization can continue using for years to come.

Looking for a meaningful service project? We love working with Scouts, students, and community groups to identify projects that can make a lasting impact. Reach out to us at [email protected] to start the conversation.

As a new school year is underway, there are fresh opportunities to create classrooms where every student feels welcome, valued, and included. Whether you're a parent, educator, classmate, or community member, small actions often make the biggest difference. Here are five quick ways to promote inclusion this school year.

Inclusion grows through everyday choices and helps create stronger classrooms, stronger friendships, and stronger communities.

As Disability Pride Month comes to a close, our commitment to inclusion continues every day of the year.

Disability pride celebrates the unique strengths, perspectives, and contributions of people with disabilities while recognizing that true inclusion takes all of us.

To every self-advocate, family member, caregiver, educator, therapist, coach, employer, volunteer, neighbor, and ally who works to create a more accessible and inclusive community, thank you. Your advocacy, compassion, and commitment help move us closer to a world where everyone has the opportunity to belong.

At The Sandlot, we're proud to stand alongside you, not just in July, but every day of the year.

Why did we create ?

Because every athlete deserves the opportunity to play.

- Last Saturday, The Sandlot hosted our inaugural Everyone Belongs in the Game adaptive sports clinic, bringing together children, teens, and adults with disabilities for a day full of soccer, adaptive recreation, connection, and fun in an environment designed with inclusion at its core.

This event wasn't about competition. It was about confidence, friendships, and creating opportunities where everyone can experience the joy of sports.

We're incredibly grateful to our partners at Foro Sports Club for opening their doors and donating their fields to help make this event possible. Partnerships like this expand access and remind us what's possible when a community comes together around inclusion.

We can't wait to welcome more athletes, families, volunteers, and coaches in the future!

Because everyone belongs in the game.
