We want to share with you our video on Ebola Prevention. It is in Kiswahili at the moment, but we are working on an English, French, and Kinyarwanda version also. Right now there is an ongoing outbreak in DR Congo. It is in the east near many of our Bible Study groups. We are sharing the video through social media and Whatsapp with our Bible Study leaders and having them share with their groups as it is possible. There has been some rebel activities in the areas where Ebola is now active, and health workers are sometimes prevented from helping the people due to this issue. And due to the lack of education concerning Ebola, people are frightened and mistrusting of government attempts at helping. Some aide workers have been attacked. Our video is written from a Christian perspective. We have put a strong Gospel message in the video and instructions for believers in how to prevent getting this virus. It is a drama and we have a Christian medical doctor who is also giving information and instructing the people. the actors are from Rwanda and the film has been produced there. We are planning to show this video publically in several of the towns where Ebola is active or near, as well as in other places we have Bible study groups. We need your help with donations. Each showing is around $110. They have to rent a projector, speakers, and usually a generator with gasoline. Right now, we are trying to raise $1500 for this showing. If you have any friends in DR Congo, please share the video with them. Pray for this opportunity to help the people of Congo, and to share the Good News of the Gospel with them.
