Funny story: A sweet woman, Miss Kaye, called my number and asked for Dan McKeithen. (For those of you who don’t know, Dan was president of the club about 5 years ago and I was president last year. How she got my number and Dan’s name is a mystery.)
It turns out Miss Kaye has a 1993 Cougar she wants to sell. Miss Kaye is 82 and has been the only owner of this one of a kind Cougar. She wanted a Cadillac but as a single mother her budget wouldn’t allow it. Instead, she picked the Cougar and added a vinyl top and leather seats. I’m sure we can all agree she picked the better car. 😉
The car is in good running condition. Her mechanic recently replaced some belts and hoses. The odometer quit working some years back at around 92 thousand miles.
Miss Kaye lives in Houston. If you or someone you know is interested in buying her car, message me and I’ll give you her contact information. She says she would rather sell her car to a Cougar enthusiast than some teenager “who’ll drive too fast and tear up the streets.”😊
