While some of our Troops were marching with the band in the , others watched with family or acted as parade color guard. A few continued the holiday tradition of acting as ceremonial color guard for a local retirement community. Thank you Fox Run Estates for honoring the flag with our Scout Troops and allowing us to visit with your residents.

Day 2 of summer camp and scouts worked on safety and the basics of each if their merit badges. Camp was set up with gadgets and gateways and flags. The evening ended with a free swim, where most of the troop hit the waterfront to try to launch each other from the blob.

Today we remember and honor those we lost while serving our great country.

Great weekend at the USS Lexington with our sister Troop. We started by staying the night in the crew quarters of the aircraft carrier "the blue ghost". We slept in crew bunks, ate two meals in the chowhall, headed ghost stories, did ALL the tours and climbed lots of ladders.

This is our last full day at Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp. The troops worked hard and performed an excellent flag ceremony before breakfast. This afternoon we got to ride horses in the camp.
