Today, we say goodbye to our dear brother Johnny Grider. A kind soul, a dedicated member of our community for over 20 years, and a friend to so many. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn his passing and reflect on the impact he made on all of us.

Johnny, you left us too soon, but we take comfort in knowing you are in a better place now. Your warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten. You touched the lives of everyone around you, and your legacy will live on in our hearts.

Rest in peace, brother. You will always be missed and forever remembered. 💔🕊️

🕊With heartfelt condolences, we celebrate the remarkable life of our beloved brother, Orvel (Red) Lovell, who left us on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the wonderful age of 91, in Grapevine, Texas.

Join us for a visitation at 12:30 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Colleyville, followed by a special funeral service at 1:30 PM and the burial.

Mr. Lovell devoted an impressive 56 years to his calling as a union carpenter and proudly served with Carpenters Local 429. We cherish his legacy and are forever grateful for the dedication and passion he brought to his work.

Rest in peace, Brother Red; your spirit will continue to inspire us.

It’s outage season!

Calls are running for the first dispatch date for Comanche Peak. Pre-scaffold dates are March 9th, April 13th, 15th, and the last one is April 27th.

The outage officially starts on May 3rd. Pre-scaffold schedule is 4- 10s, outage hours are 6-12s. The scale is $35.58 on the check with $10.48 in benefits. This is a nuclear plant, so background checks and training certificates are required. This includes scaffold 40 and OSHA 10.
