We want to say THANK YOU! ♥️ So we designed a special evening just for that.

On November 5, we’re inviting our supporters and volunteers to join us for our inaugural Sole Session — two hours of open bar, light bites, catching up, and celebrating everything YOU have helped make possible.

We’ll have a quick presentation around 6:45 to share what we’ve been up to and a little of what’s ahead. Spoiler alert… it’s been SO good!

And when we say volunteers, we mean all of you! Our adult AND young volunteers are invited. If you’ve given your time, supported an event, helped a child find the perfect pair, donated, sponsored, or simply cheered us on — this evening is for you.

What does $5,000 do? It gives us the chance to say YES to an entire community. ♥️

Right now, Dayna’s Footprints is raising $5,000 — the cost of one community shoe event.

One event means kids get to walk into a store, choose a brand-new pair of shoes they love, and walk out with a little more confidence in every step.

Because for us, it’s never just about the shoes. 👟
It’s about choice. Confidence. New beginnings.

Every donation — $10, $25, $50, $100 — gets us closer to funding our next event and helping us say YES to more kids.

The Ripple You Never See: A Physician’s Case for Upstream Medicine

What began as loss became purpose. And that purpose continues to ripple.

This week, our co-founder, Dr. Sam Sayed, delivered his Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds at Mayo Clinic, sharing the story behind Dayna’s Footprints and a message at the heart of everything we do: some of the most meaningful interventions happen long before someone ever becomes a patient.

A pair of shoes. A mentor. A teacher who notices. A community that shows up.

Small acts may feel ordinary in the moment, but we may never fully know how far their impact travels.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sam Sayed on this incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of him and grateful for the way he continues to turn personal loss into purpose—and use his voice to champion the power of showing up for our communities upstream.

A new city. A new community. A new store. And another opportunity to say YES. ♥️

We’re so excited to welcome Hobbs Williams Elementary in Grand Prairie to the Dayna’s Footprints family!

This event was especially meaningful because it was our first time serving this new community—and it reminded us why we keep saying yes. We had the opportunity to celebrate students who have worked hard and made academic gains, while helping them step into the new school year with confidence, pride and a brand-new pair of shoes.

For us, it’s never just about the shoes. It’s about showing these kids that their hard work matters, that their community believes in them, and that they deserve to feel confident walking into whatever comes next.

And we couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help us make our first event in this community so seamless.

A huge shoutout to Hibbett Sports for making the entire experience smooth from start to finish and helping us create such a special day for these students!

We’re excited to welcome Hobbs Williams Elementary in Grand Prairie, Texas, to the Dayna’s Footprints family!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’re able to continue our Help Us Say Yes More campaign by expanding into another incredible school community. Every gift makes it possible for us to say “yes” to more children, more schools, and more opportunities to build confidence where it’s needed most.

This August, we’ll celebrate a special group of students who have been invited in recognition of the academic gains they made during the last school year. Each student will receive a brand-new pair of athletic shoes as they prepare to step into the new school year with confidence, encouragement, and the belief that they can continue to grow, achieve, and go even higher.

When we take children shopping for new shoes, we’re doing more than building confidence. We’re often discovering they’ve been wearing the wrong size for months—or even years. We’re helping them find the support, comfort, and proper fit they need for school, sports, PE, and everyday life.

Sometimes a new pair of shoes is about much more than shoes. ♥️
